Terms of Use for Applicants
Effective: August 2026
This is the English translation of the German "Nutzungsbedingungen für Bewerber".
In case of discrepancies, the German version shall prevail.
§ 1 Scope of Application
-
These Terms of Use govern the use of the "JobJitsu" platform by applicants.
-
JobJitsu provides a technical platform for submitting applications to companies.
§ 2 Role of JobJitsu
-
JobJitsu is not an employer, recruitment agency, or personnel consultancy.
-
JobJitsu is not involved in hiring or selection decisions.
-
The respective company is solely responsible for the content and conduct of the recruitment process.
§ 3 Permitted Use
-
Applicants may use the platform exclusively to submit genuine applications to existing job vacancies.
-
The following is prohibited:
- providing false or misleading information,
- applying under a false identity,
- submitting unlawful or offensive content,
- attempting to circumvent technical security measures.
-
If a submission violates these rules, JobJitsu may remove it after review by a human. The applicant is informed of this, stating the reasons, insofar as their contact details are available.
§ 4 Responsibility for Content
-
Applicants are solely responsible for the content they submit.
-
Applicants must not infringe the rights of third parties, including copyright or personality rights.
§ 5 Data Protection
-
The company that published the respective job advertisement is the controller for the processing of the application data under data protection law. The details are set out in the privacy notice for the respective job advertisement.
-
In the application procedure, JobJitsu processes the application data solely on behalf of that company and does not decide how it is used. JobJitsu is the controller for the operation of the platform itself – including aggregate statistics on the effectiveness of job advertisements; the JobJitsu privacy policy applies in that respect.
§ 6 Liability
-
JobJitsu does not guarantee:
- the success of an application,
- feedback from a company,
- the conclusion of an employment contract.
-
Otherwise, liability shall be governed by applicable law.
